Forecast Discussion

An area of low pressure near the TN River Valley will move through our area tonight. Ahead of the low, a band of showers over eastern TN will move through the area overnight.

The low and its associated cold front will be slow to move out on Sunday, so not as much sun as originally thought Sunday afternoon. There will be a break in the rain during the day before more showers develop Sunday night ahead of another disturbance moving across the area.

We finally clear out some on Monday. For the rest of the week, a weak disturbance will bring an increase in clouds on Wednesday, but no significant rainfall is expected at this time.

Towards the end of next week, we MAY return to a more winter-like pattern; stay tuned...
